Dorothy Lee Jones Coronado

Dorothy Lee Jones Coronado passed away on March 10, 2026. A devoted wife and mother, she was married to Isaac Coronado for 42 years. Together they raised a daughter, Dorothy “Dottie” LaVerne Coronado Hart, and twin sons.

Dorothy was known for her many talents and her loving spirit. An excellent cook, seamstress, and barber, she also had a remarkable green thumb and took great joy in tending her garden and flower beds. She loved fishing at the family camp and helping her husband prepare delicious Bar-B-Q meals for family and friends.

She is survived by her sister, Arlene Pope (Curtis); her daughter, Dorothy Hart; grandsons Kevin W. Hart (Tonia) and Brett L. Hart; great-grandsons Aidan L. Hart and Tyler Woodburn (Candace); great-granddaughter Hannah Hart; great-great-granddaughter Piper Hart; and great-great-grandsons Jensen and Lelynn Woodburn. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Coronado; her son, Mike Coronado; her parents, Neomi Seymour Jones and William Clarence Jones; her brothers, RC Jones, Calvin Jones, and William Clarence Jones, Jr.; and her sisters, Audrey Tatum, Mary Ellen Spurlock, Flora Ruth Temple, Irene Taylor, and Elaine Ruff.
