Dorothy Jean Stell Randle, age 92 of Sparkman, passed away on March 13, 2026. Born February 10, 1934 in Tinsman, Arkansas, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randolph Randle, her parents, Barney and Virginia Stell, her sister Mary Cathrine, and a step grandson Zane Gray.

She is survived by her two daughters, Dolores Cooper and Mary (Bill) McDowell of Sparkman; two sons, Marvin (Judy) Randle of Bearden and John Randle of Sparkman; her grandchildren, Randy Randle, Lauren (Garet) Davis, Leslie and Kirk McDowell, Stacey (Jamie) Weaver, and Eric Gray; 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A lifelong member of East Side Baptist Church, Dorothy loved to sing and traveled many miles with her friend Helen Reeder to share the hymn “What A Day That Will Be.” She embraced life fully, never meeting a stranger, and carried a spirited competitiveness that shone through in her favorite games of dominoes, cornhole, and Go Fish. For the last 31 years she cherished bowling, remaining an active member of a team in Hot Springs even at the age of 91.

Dorothy was deeply loved by her family and many friends.
