Dorothy J. Riley

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy J. Riley of North Ridgeville, Ohio, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on February 25, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Bert Forest Riley; and her parents, Dorothy B. Tharp and William M. Tharp. She is survived by: her children, Lori Chilcott (Cliff) of Mulberry, FL, Randy Riley of North Ridgeville and Jeff Riley (Novelyn) of North Ridgeville; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Hunley (Tim), Jessica Widener (Marcus Pruitt), Cassie Riley, Sara Shuman (Bryce) and Kaylie Arnold (Jeremy). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services (36625 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville, OH 44039). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home (36625 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville, OH 44039). The inurnment will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 at 10:15 AM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273).
