Dorothy Holt

Dorothy Holt passed away peacefully at the Huntsville Hospice on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, in her 100th year.

She was the beloved wife of the late Ross Holt and a cherished mother to Kenneth (Joanne) Holt, Douglas (Phyllis) Holt, and Norman (Lynne) Holt. She was predeceased by her son David Holt. Dorothy was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her sisters Catherine (James) Borne and Phyllis (John/Warren) Borne. She was predeceased by her brothers Robert “Bob” (Marilyn) Borne, Edward “Ted” (Claudine) Borne, Douglas (Doreen) Borne, Donald (Louise/Rosie) Borne, and her sister Velma (William Roy) Borne.

As per her wishes, Dorothy’s cremated remains will be laid to rest beside her husband at Strong Cemetery in the spring or summer of 2026.
