(Donahue) Sullivan, 90, of Westford, Massachusetts, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Emerson Hospital in Concord surrounded by her loving family.She was the loving wife for over 61 years of James A. Sullivan, who predeceased her in 2023.Born in Lowell, MA, October 23, 1935, the daughter of the late Joseph P. and the late Dorothy F. (Riordan) Donahue, she attended Lowell Schools and graduated from Lowell High School in the Class of 1953.After high school, Dorothy attended Wheelock College in Boston and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Education in 1957.A devoted mother of four, she also worked as a Real Estate Broker for DeWolfe Realty for many years until her retirement.Dorothy was a dedicated communicant of St. Catherine of Alexandria Church. An avid reader, artist, and flower enthusiast, she was also a talented gardener. She enjoyed many decades of friendship with her friends from the Chelmsford and Westford Garden Clubs as well as book club.Dorothy is survived by four children, Dorothy F. Semonian and her husband Ralph G. of Westford, MA; James A. Sullivan, Jr. and his wife Wendy Bean of East Burke, VT; Ellen M. Grondine and her husband Thomas of Westford, MA; and Catherine M. Olszowy and her husband Andrew of Westford, MA; eight grandchildren, Edward R. Flood, III, Matthew J. Flood, Elizabeth C. Flood, Victoria D. Medved, Thomas J. Grondine, Catherine M. Grondine, Ellen F. Olszowy and Olivia V. Olszowy; four great grandchildren, Mackenzie B. Flood, Cash E. Flood, Fiona F. Flood, and Edward R. Flood, IV; a brother, David W. Donahue and his wife Jean of Winchester, MA; two sisters-in-law, Nancy L. Donahue of Lowell, MA, and Karen Donahue of Tyngsboro MA; a brother-in-law, John "Jack" Sullivan and his wife Ellen of Andover, MA; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, near and far.She was the sister of the late Daniel J. Donahue, Joseph P. Donahue, Richard K. Donahue, Margaret K. Raney, and Catherine F. Donahue.The family wishes to thank The Inn at Robbins Brook for the care, compassion, and concern extended to their mother Dorothy.Relatives and friends may call for her Visitation on Friday, March 13, 2026, at ST. CATHERINE OF ALEXANDRIA CHURCH 107 N Main St in WESTFORD from 10:00 to 10:45 A.M. followed by her Funeral Mass to be held in the church at 11:00 A.M.
