She was born on December 16,1931, to Elmer and Lillian (Carlson) Black in Duluth. She married Howard Levine in 1958. She worked at the College of St Scholastica, F.W. Woolworth, and the Miller Dwan Medical Center.Dorothy was preceded in death by her mother in 1940; her father in 1968; her husband in 1966; stepmother, Martha in 1993; brothers, Clarence (Marge) and Lloyd (Catherine); stepsisters, Maxine and Elizabeth; and stepbrother, Raymond Prondzyinski; as well as good friends Betty and Hilda Hildebrandt.Dorothy is survived by daughters LeEtta (Howard Britton) (Jim) Lee of Brainerd and LaBelle (Bob) Anderson of Duluth; sister, Elrena Greeney of Pensacola, FL; stepbrothers, Jerry (Dee) Prondzyinski and Jimmie (Delores) Novak; five grandchildren, Jenae (Stephen) Pitoscia, Tana Macartney, Amber (Matt) Koski, Tyler Anderson all of Duluth and Amanda (Cody) Anderson of Becker; seven great grandchildren, Hailey (Martial) Nash, Reid Pitoscia, Nicholas Macartney, Ayla, Louis, and Henry Koski and Caleb Anderson; and two great-great grandchildren, Harper and Stephen Nash; as well as her special friend Mary Lepak.Per her request there will be no services.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
