Born on March 28, 1935, in Range, Alabama, to John Emmett and Janie Lawrence (Partin) Robinson, Dorothy (Dottie) graduated from Pensacola High School, then married a Marine aviator, and spent several decades traveling with her husband and raising their children.Dottie was a bright and shining soul, gracious to all, and much loved. She was an impressive bowler and became an impressive golfer in later years. She was a loving wife and mother, and a steadfast friend. She was noticed always by her bright, cheery smile.Dottie is survived by her daughters, Laura (Robert) Ice, Linda Bailey, and Carole (Cory) Stone; grandchildren, Dorothy Schmeckpeper, Sarah Ice, John Stone, Jennifer Stone, and Tracy Bennett; great grandchildren, Charles Schmeckpeper and Robert Schmeckpeper. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, and her parents, John and Janie Robinson.Visitation will be held on March 10, 2026, at 1:30 PM at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South, with funeral service at 2:30 PM. Graveside will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Pensacola.
