Dorothy Ann Mizrahi

Dorothy Ann Mizrahi, affectionately known as Dottie, D.Ann, or simply Ma, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, at the age of 71. A devoted mother of six, she lived a life marked by remarkable resilience and a stubborn strength that sustained her through years of chronic pain, financial hardship, and the demands of raising a large family on her own.

Her relationships with her children were complex and deeply felt. Though she was not always affectionate in conventional ways, she remained a constant presence in their lives, showing up for them through every challenge. Her six children were her purpose and her pride, forming the central thread of her story. She was also known for her fierce love of cigarettes, a distinctive part of her personality that reflected her unapologetically authentic self.

Dorothy is survived by her six children, Danielle Dansby (Bradley), Michael Mizrahi (Danielle), April Cona (Michael), Mark Mizrahi (Sophia), Ashley Mizrahi, and Candace Mizrahi; her nine grandchildren, Layne Dansby, Zachary Dansby, Katelyn Mizrahi, Jerrick Mizrahi, Dominick Cona, Giselle Cona, Killian Mizrahi, Raiden Mizrahi, and Tyrion Mizrahi; and her two siblings, Steven Halloran and Laura White.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Ann LeMay; her father, Melvin LeMay; and her siblings, Al LeMay and Michele LeMay.
