Doris "Sissy" Scott

Doris O. Scott, born Doris Wicks on February 20, 1934, in Chestertown, Maryland, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026, at the age of 92. She was the daughter of Goldie Elizabeth Wicks and Norman Clarence Wicks. Doris was married to the late Elwood Albert Scott of Georgetown, Maryland, and is survived by her seven daughters. She leaves behind a loving legacy that spans five generations.

Doris attended Henry Highland Garnet School and enjoyed a long career as a dietician with the Kent County Sheriff’s Department, where she served for 21 years before retiring.

She will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.
