Doris Morris

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Morris (Livonia, Michigan), who passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris Morris to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Gunnels and Mable Gunnels; her sisters, Marge Eva Jane Brown and Myrtle Marie Dishman; her former husband Daniel Gutiérrez (late Dale Morris); and her stepsons, Dale Morris Jr., David Morris and Scott Morris.

She is survived by: her children, Duren Gutiérrez (Autrey), Margo Gutiérrez, Eric Gutiérrez (Michelle) and Marcia Gutiérrez-Carpenter (Tim); and her siblings, Evelyn Faye Guthrie, Sandra Kaye Key (Roger) and Tifford Lee Gunnels. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the G. R. Harris Funeral Home (15451 Farmington Rd, Livonia, MI 48154).
