LaFountain, 97, of Beekman St., formerly of Beekmantown, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born on December 8, 1928 the daughter of Arthur and Emma (Menard) Belanger.Doris married Alfred LaFountain, whom passed away April 8, 1981. She worked for many years at Diamond International in Plattsburgh. The job she enjoyed the most was raising her family.Survivors include her children, Bernard (Lisa) LaFountain, Marvin (Pam) LaFountain, John (Mary)LaFountain, Mickey (Kelly) LaFountain, Diana (Roch) Langlois, Karen (Ron) Currier, daughter in law, Tina LaFountain. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephewsShe is predeceased by spouse, parents, her two sisters, Blanche Marshall and Florence Patnode, son, Edward LaFountain and granddaughter, Michelin Langlois.A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
