Doris M. Frick

Passed March 12, 2026

Catasauqua, PA

Doris M. Frick, 97, of Catasauqua, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at Lehigh Valley Health Network-Muhlenberg in Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Leonard Frick and the late George Jupko. Born in Allentown, Doris was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Burns) Pyle. A graduate of Allentown High School, she later attended Lehigh Carbon Community College and completed the Moravian College Shared Ministry Program in Bethlehem. She was a devoted member of Bethany Wesleyan Church in Cherryville.

Doris and her husband George successfully ran a tile and marble business for 18 years before she became a financial counselor at Consumer Credit Counseling, where she worked until her retirement. Deeply committed to her faith, she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, leaning on Him through difficult times and giving thanks for every blessing. She played a foundational role in establishing the Alpha Chapter of the Lehigh Valley and served as the first convenor of the Order of St. Luke, an international healing ministry. She was also a coordinator for the Rescued for Recovery Encounter.

Above all, Doris cherished her family. She found great joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren, and she treasured their many trips to the beach, where she felt a deep sense of peace. To those who knew her, she was a steady rock and a source of wisdom they will always hold dear.

She is survived by her daughters, Dolores J. Krause of Northampton, Gloria E., wife of Martin D. Guth, of Center Valley, and Kathleen M., wife of Michael E. Miller, of Northampton; her nephew, James Pyle and his wife Debra of Bechtelsville; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, James and Paul Pyle, and her nephew, Paul Pyle, Jr.
