Doris Lorene Zappia, 95, of Shepherdstown, West Virginia, formerly of Logan, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2026. Born on December 11, 1930, in Accoville, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Elza and Pearlie Spurlock Adkins.
Doris lived a long and full life, cherished by her family and remembered for her gentle spirit and the quiet strength she brought to those around her. She leaves behind a family who will carry her memory with deep affection and gratitude for the years they shared.
She will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, West Virginia.
