Doris L. Glatzel

Doris L. Glatzel of Brookings, South Dakota, passed away on March 16, 2026, at the age of 99.

Born to Oscar and Mary Lenning (Larson), Doris lived a long life marked by quiet strength and deep devotion to family. She shared many years with her husband Gene before his passing and remained close to her surviving sister-in-law Jean Lenning and her dear friend Raenette.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Gene; her siblings Lenore, Gladys, Edyth, Alma, Lester, and Vernon (Jean); and her sisters-in-law Ernola, Delores, and Donna Jean. Doris is lovingly remembered by her grandsons Brett (Laura), Shane, and Jason, and her great-grandchildren Brendan and Aidan, who brought her great joy in her later years.
