Doris June Williams

Doris June Williams, known affectionately as Squirrel, age 83, of Miami, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Columbus, Kansas. Born on July 4, 1942, in Miami to Alec and Birdie (Morgan) Squirrel, Doris spent her life as a dental assistant and devoted homemaker. She lived with a quiet determination to serve others, regularly checking in on family and friends and offering help wherever it was needed. Above all, she cherished her family and held a deep love for her Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alec and Birdie Squirrel; her first husband, David Judson; her second husband, Donald Williams; her son, Daniel Judson; and her sisters, Jacquline Mapes and Elaine Martin.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Dione Dameron of Phoenix, Arizona; her sons Joey Williams and his wife Rene, and their daughter Kylee, all of Miami; David Williams of Miami; and Troy Williams of Miami. She is also survived by her sisters Martha Fansler of Welch, Oklahoma, and Delores Valdez of Denver, Colorado, along with many nieces and nephews who will carry forward her memory of kindness and faith.
