Doris June Ray

Doris June (Forsyth) Ray, 90, of Grandview, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026. Born on June 4, 1935, in Johnson County, Texas, she grew up surrounded by the natural beauty and close-knit warmth of her family.

A devoted homemaker, Doris poured her love and care into her family throughout her life. From her youth, she held a deep passion for the outdoors, a joy she shared with her husband, Cecil Weldon Ray. Together they formed many lasting friendships as active members of their local RV club in Texas, creating cherished memories with those closest to them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Weldon Ray; her parents, Mose W. Forsyth and Rosa Rhoads; her brothers, Raymond, Herbert, Theron, and Marvin; and her sister, Mildred. Doris is survived by her son, Daniel Ray, and her niece, Lei Ann Forsyth.

She will be remembered for her unwavering love, gentle spirit, and the quiet joy she brought to everyone around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
