Doris Jane Fewell

Doris Jane Fewell passed away on March 14, 2026, in West Monroe, Louisiana. She was born on April 5, 1937, in Jena, Louisiana, and lived a life rooted in faith, family, and quiet devotion.

A longtime member of Hyde Park Baptist Church, Doris served faithfully for many years. She retired as secretary at Savage, Moore, Miles CPA and found simple joys in playing cards and spending time with those she loved. Above all, she cherished her family and remained deeply devoted to them throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Agnes Hudnall; her father, Troy Bethard; and her sisters, Kat Jackson and Charlotte Jones.

Doris is survived by her husband of 67 years, Richard Lee Fewell; her son, Richard Fewell, Jr. (Judy); her daughter, Tracye Theriot (Andy); her granddaughter, Courtney Fewell Wade (Justin); her grandsons, JB Fewell (Carly), Kirby Theriot (Morgan), and Carter Theriot; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
