She leaves behind three children, Carolyn Sue Taylor and husband Steve of Sanders, Kentucky, Charlene Curry and husband Earl of Ludlow, Kentucky, and Alvin Baker of Erlanger, Kentucky; one sibling, Dema House and husband G.M. of London, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Ronny Baker, Joshua Curry, Charity (Joey) Schweitzer, Kimberly Havens, Matthew Taylor, Kyle Baker, Racheal (Devon) Lightfoot, Abigail Baker, and Alex Baker; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of other family and friends who will cherish her memory.

Doris was a woman whose life was defined by faith, generosity, and unwavering compassion for others. For many years she faithfully served in the clothing and food pantry at Long Ridge Baptist Church, quietly helping those in need and offering kindness to everyone she met. She supported many charities and was always willing to lend a hand, giving freely of her time, resources, and heart. Though small in stature, she possessed the biggest heart and strongest will. She loved animals, enjoyed reading, and had a particular fondness for cheesecake. Above all, Doris was known for her understanding nature, her belief in people, and her willingness to extend grace again and again. To know her was to know love, and those who were blessed to share in her life will remember her warmth, kindness, and generosity always.
