She was the daughter of the late Marvin and Mary (Zimmerman) Norfleet.She married her childhood sweetheart, Leonard Phillip York on May 12, 1962.She is survived by: one brother, Oscar Norfleet (Susie); and two sisters, Marlene McIntyre and Brenda Shrader (Ray); several nieces and nephews; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Phillip York; and two brothers, Jimmy Ray Norfleet and Harold Norfleet.Doris will be sadly missed by all who knew her.The family will receive friends on Friday, March 13, 2026, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 10 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel.
