Doris Anna Talbott of Springfield, Illinois, passed away on March 16, 2026 at the age of 91.
She was a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose presence brought laughter, wisdom, and quiet strength to those around her. Her kindness, warmth, and enduring love remain alive in the memories of everyone who knew her.
Doris was predeceased by her parents, Richard Shanklin and Florence Shanklin; her siblings, Richard Shanklin and Joan Fox; and her husband, Al Talbott.
She is survived by her children, Cherryl Walker (Dave), Douglas Beahringer (Kathi), Donald Beahringer (Shari), and Carrie Huggins (Butch); her stepchildren, Kim Chestnut (Bill) and Robert (Jane); twelve grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
