She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Glenn "Ray" Smith and Willie Esther Davis Smith; her brother Little Buddy; her parents-in-law, Eugene and Nell James; and her sister-in-law Susan Smith.

She is survived by: her husband Jeff James of Lakeland; her brother W. G. Smith of Homerville; her sibling's children, Christopher (Tracie Smith) and Stephanie (Demory Godwin); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Rebekah, Travis Horton, Walker Godwin, Camlynn Godwin, Blaine Pritchett, Xander Godwin and Marann Pritchett; her brother-in-law Terry James of Lakeland; Kinsey Horton.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Roundtree Funeral Home (240 E Dame Ave, Homerville, GA 31634). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the New Vision Church of God (215 Dickerson St, Homerville, GA 31634). A burial will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at the Pine Forest Cemetery (600 W Dame Ave, Homerville, GA 31634).
