Dorcas Carrasquillo

Dorcas Carrasquillo passed away on March 7, 2026.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and woman of deep faith, Dorcas was remembered for her kindness, strength, and boundless love for her family. Her warm presence, quick sense of humor, distinctive style, delicious cooking, and beautiful smile left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Those who loved her will carry her memory as a cherished blessing.

She is survived by her partner, Pablo Carrasquillo; her children, Jose Carlos Romero, Jackeline Lopez Carrasquillo, Lisette Lopez, and Janette Lopez; her beloved grandchildren, Jamiris, Avis Nelly, Kenny, Nathaniel, Jean Carlos, Maria, Angela, Katherine, Angel, Lisabel, Aida, Naldo, and Genesis; and her thirteen great-grandchildren, especially Xavier and Gabriella, whom she helped raise and who will continue to honor her love and legacy. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Miriam Romero.

Though her family feels a profound emptiness in her absence, they find comfort knowing she now rests in the eternal peace and light of God.
