Dora Elizabeth (Beth) Davis

Dora Elizabeth (Beth) Davis, 90, of Clyde, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in the Clyde Nursing Center.

Born on November 24, 1935, to Fay and Hazel (Bellamy) Marvin, Beth grew up in Abilene, where she graduated from Abilene High School and later attended McMurry College. She enjoyed a long career with Southwestern Bell before retiring.

Beth was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Oliver and husband Lee of Clyde; three grandchildren, Jared Oliver and wife Jenny of New Home, Lindsey Oliver-Davis and husband Kyle of Weatherford, and Chris Hazlewood and wife Emily of Euless; and four great-grandchildren, Rylan Oliver, Reid Oliver, Stevie Davis, and Lily Hazlewood.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Davis; her son, Dub Marvin Hicks; her daughter, Sharon Hicks Hazlewood; and her son-in-law, John Hazlewood. The family remains deeply grateful for the compassionate care provided to Beth by the staff at the Clyde Nursing Center during her final years.
