He was born on January 10, 1983, to David Waters Sr.and the late Barbara Johnson. Donnie received his Christian upbringing at Collins TempleUnited Methodist Church in Snow Hill, Maryland, where he was nurtured in faith andguided by strong family values and a supportive church community. Donnie received hispublic education through the Worcester County and Wicomico County Public SchoolSystems. Throughout his life, he was known for his quiet strength and determination.Donnie was employed at Amick Farms in Hurlock, Maryland, where he workedfaithfully until his health began to decline. His dedication and work ethic were evident tothose who worked alongside him.Donnie will be remembered for the love he shared with his family &&friends, and thelasting impressions he made on all who knew him. His presence brought comfort,laughter, and strength to those around him, and his memory will forever remain in thehearts of those who loved him.He leaves to cherish his precious memories his father, David Waters Sr, step-fatherCalvin Johnson; three loving sisters, Martina Johnson (Marcelin) of Easley, SC, LokishaBratten (Timothy) of Salisbury, MD, and Tykisha Johnson (Bobbie) of Fort Lee, VA; andhis devoted twin brother, David Waters Jr of Easley, SC. Donnie also shared a specialbond with his first cousins, who were like siblings to him: Jermaine Ayres (Nikole) ofSalisbury, MD, and Michelle Ayres (Dontay) of Salisbury, MD. Uncles: Daniel Watersof Salisbury, MD, Sylvester Bratten of Snow Hill, MD, Ricky Waters of Girdletree, MD,Elizabeth (Clarence) Franklin, Joycelyn (Joe) Ayres, Faye (Allen) Gould all of Salisbury,MD, Candace Waters of Snow Hill, MD and Marian (Lorenzo) Taylor of VA. Nieces andnephews: Jomal Williams, Jeramiah Bratten, DeAsia Anderson, Davion and MalikWaters, Aaron Bratten, Janaiysha and J'Quan Johnson, Jariah Parker, Marlasia Moise,Elijah Redden, Christian Moise, and a host of cousins and dear friends who will continueto cherish his memory.Donnie was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Barbara Johnson, his maternalgrandparents, Ernest and Helen Gillett, his paternal grandparents, Nelson and Wilsie Waters, an Uncle Ernest (Snook) Bratten, and a niece Chardaisah Jackson.Though Donnie's earthlyjourney has ended, the love he gave and the memories hecreated will live onforever in the hearts ofthose who knew and loved him."Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted."- Matthew 5:4To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
