Donnie Jay Rockwell

Donnie Jay Rockwell, 51, of Chadbourn, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Ryder Lee Norris.

Donnie is survived by his wife, Charlotte Georgette Rockwell; his children, Charlotte Ann Norris and her husband Charles, George Donovoan Ted Rockwell and his wife Adreana, and Britney Alexis Kay Roberts and her husband Channing; his grandchildren, Mallorie Norris and Scarlett Mae Jay Norris; his parents, Ronnie Ray Rockwell, Sr. and Ann Soles Rockwell; his siblings, Scott Rockwell and Ronnie Ray Rockwell, Jr.; his best friend, Tim McKeithan; and his nieces and nephews Justin and Victoria, who were like his own children.

He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose love for his family remained at the center of his life.
