Donna Vandrell

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donna Vandrell in Spencer, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 8, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Horan and Mary Horan; her husband Roger Earl Vandrell; and her siblings, John, James and Pamela Sue.

She is survived by: her children, Vicki Hoagland (Dennis) of Madison, Wis. and Roger Vandrell (Sherry) of Monmouth, Maine; her grandsons, Matt, Justin (Amanda) and Tyler (Katie); her great grandchildren, Hannah and Hailey Hoagland; her sister Sharon Schacherer; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Vandrell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gunderson East Funeral & Cremation Care (5203 Monona Dr, Monona, WI 53716). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Park (401 Femrite Dr, Monona, WI 53716). A burial will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Gunderson East Funeral & Cremation Care (5203 Monona Dr, Monona, WI 53716).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be gifted in Donna's name to St. Dennis Parish or Olbrich Gardens.
