Donna Shashaty

Donna Shashaty, age 67, of Staten Island, New York, passed away on March 14, 2026. She was born on February 17, 1959, in Mount Holly, New Jersey, to John and Frances Skinner.

Donna will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to family and faith, which formed the foundation of her life. She had a true passion for cooking, and the love she poured into every meal was felt by all who shared her table. Her brightest of smiles could light up any room, and she possessed a rare ability to make everyone around her feel seen, loved, and at home.

Above all, Donna lived with quiet selflessness and a gift for bringing people together. She is survived by her husband, Tom Shashaty Sr., her sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy Jr. and Jennifer, and Daniel and Paige, as well as her grandchildren, Francesca and Sonny, and another grandson on the way.
