Donna S. LaEace

Donna S. LaEace, 75, of Bellevue, Kentucky, died peacefully at her home on March 6, 2026, surrounded by her family and friends.

Born on July 7, 1950, in Covington, Kentucky, Donna was the daughter of George and Rita LaEace. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Tom LaEace and his wife Cheryl.

A dedicated nurse for more than 25 years, Donna worked in both pediatric and general practice at Booth Memorial Hospital and St. Luke’s. She brought comfort, joy, and humor to her patients and consistently went above and beyond to support her coworkers. Deeply committed to her faith, she was a lifelong parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and later Divine Mercy Parish. She sang in the choir, volunteered whenever needed, and cared for friends, relatives, and neighbors with a generous heart. Donna was known for bringing homemade cookies, German potato salad, soups, and cheese balls to local events and to those who were ill. Even in her own suffering, she remained uncomplaining, rallied others to pray with her, and offered quiet, steadfast support to her community.

Donna is survived by her brother Robert (Judy) LaEace of Indianapolis, Indiana, her sister Mary Jo LaEace of Bellevue, Kentucky, three nieces—Kristen LaEace of Indianapolis, Julie LaEace (Paul Schmidt) of Chicago, Illinois, and Sharon LaEace (Dan) Mills of Clinton, Illinois—and four great-nieces, Anna (Riley Greer), Erica, Sarah, and Leah Mills.
