Donna Mary Richard

Donna Mary Richard, 78, of Burbank, Ohio, passed away on March 9, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born on March 11, 1947, in Newport, Rhode Island, to Benedict and Mary (Roach) Fernandez, Donna lived a life centered on faith, family, and friendship. She was actively involved in her church and cherished every opportunity to create lasting memories with those she loved. Donna found great joy in social gatherings, travel, and simply being present with the people who mattered most to her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael James Richard, who passed away on November 6, 1990, her parents, and her brother, Donald Fernandez. Donna will be deeply missed by her children, Michael Richard of Akron, Gregory (Patricia) Richard of Madison, Connecticut, and Melissa (Kevin) Swaney of Burbank; her grandchildren, Megan (Michael) Hardman, Kevin (Camden) Swaney, Grady Richard, Elle Richard, Calista Richard, and Abigail Richard; her great-grandchildren, Madison and Isabella Hardman; her sister, Barbara Fernandez Meierowitz; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
