Donna Mary Richard

Donna Mary Richard, 78, of Burbank, Ohio passed away Monday, March 9, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Donna was born March 11, 1947, in Newport, Rhode Island to Bennedict and Mary {Roach} Fernandez. Donna is predeceased by her husband, Michael James Richard. He passed on November 6, 1990.

Donna was involved in her church, and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was always willing to make memories and enjoyed engaging in social activities and traveling.

Donna will be deeply missed by her children Michael Richard of Akron, Gregory (Patricia) Richard of Madison, CT, Melissa (Kevin) Swaney of Burbank; grandchildren Megan (Michael) Hardman, Kevin (Camden) Swaney, Grady Richard, Elle Richard, Calista Richard, Abigail Richard; great-grandchildren Madison and Isabella Hardman; and sister Barbara Fernandez Meierowitz.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Donald Fernandez and leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be Saturday, March 14 at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Deacon Nathan Frankart officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
