She was predeceased by: her parents, Warner Meier and Esther Meier (Erickson); and her great grandchild Robert. She is survived by: her husband James Sparenberg of Mark's United Methodist Church; her children, Tim Sparenberg (Danette) of Kankakee, Tina of Kankakee and Sherry Sparenberg of Kankakee; her brother Frank Meier (Jeanne) of Kankakee; her grandsons, Ross Sparenberg (Katie), Grant Sparenberg, Brett Sparenberg (Haleigh) and Steven Mansberger; and her great grandchildren, Evan, Wyatt, Levi and Paisley Sparenberg.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kankakee - Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home (1480 W Court St, Kankakee, IL 60901). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
