Donna Lee Rathmell

Donna Lee Rathmell, formerly Good, age 86, passed away on March 10, 2026. Born in Conemaugh, Pennsylvania, to Clara and Leroy Good, she moved with her family to Renovo in 1950. She graduated from Renovo High School and later earned a degree in Technical Medical Secretarial Studies from the Franklin School of Science and Arts in Philadelphia.

Donna began her career as a medical secretary at Bucktail Medical Center and later worked as a buyer for American Coastal Industries, where she retired. A devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she lived a life centered on faith, love, and community. A devout Christian and active member of her church, she was remembered for her kindness, generosity, and warm spirit.

She loved to sing, was an avid bridge player, and possessed a delightful sense of humor. Above all, she cherished sharing laughter, stories, and quiet moments with her family.

She is survived by her beloved husband, John Paul Rathmell Jr. (“Pete”); her sons, John Paul Rathmell III (“Trey”), Barry A. Rathmell, and Steven H. Rathmell; her grandchildren, Madeline, Jack, Megan, Sophie, Sarah Jane, Benjamin, and Katie; her great-grandchildren, Stevie and Charlie; and her sister, Patricia Hershey.
