Donna Lee Coins

Donna Lee Carr Coins, 54, of Dobson, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026. Born on October 29, 1971, to the late Ray Charles Carr, Sr. and Carolyn Sue Gardener Carr, Donna lived a life centered on the things and people she cherished most.

She had a deep love for attending races and found her greatest joy in her family, especially her beloved grandbabies. A loyal member of Granite City Church, Donna remained devoted to her faith and her community throughout her life.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her grandparents, Florance Frazier and Gwen Frazier. She is survived by her husband, Ricky Coins; her daughter, Zoey Barger (Elijah); her brother, Ray Carr (Jennifer); her step-children, Shawn Bowman and Shanna Bowman; her grandchildren, Dakota Johnson, Blakely Sue Barger, and Nathan Logan Taylor; her half-sister, Barbara; her aunts, Linda Tucker and Barbara Staffer; her niece, Lynn Ann Smith; and her cousin, Mike Stafford.
