LaCoss, 89, of Baker Road, passed away Thursday morning, March 5, 2026, at her home.Donna was born on September 15, 1936, in Potsdam, the daughter of the late William N. and Irene R. (Andrus) McDonald and attend local schools. On January 19, 1952, she married Garry LaCoss at St. Mary's Rectory in Potsdam. He predeceased her on April 1, 2004.Donna worked for a time at Moongate and United Helpers Nursing Home. She also did private duty house cleaning. She enjoyed bowling and belonged to a 10-pin bowling league. She also enjoyed ceramics, camping, and raising her family.Donna is survived by her children, Sandra (Donald) Woodcock of Rensselaer Falls, Pammy Dean of Canton, and Patricia Ladison of Canton; her grandchildren, Christina Ladison, Rae Foster, Andrew Ladison, and Donna Sosebee; and 10 great grandchildren.In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Garry LaCoss on November 15, 2018, and a grandson, Paul Nelson.Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Donaldson-Seymour Funeral Home, Potsdam, however there will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be held later in the spring. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Hillcrest Cemetery, Parishville.In lieu of flowers, those wishing may consider memorial contributions to be made in her memory to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
