Donna L. Board

Donna Lou Board, age 86, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, following a short battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Beulah Dye, her sister Shirley Greathouse, and her brothers James and Roger Dye.

Donna is survived by her husband of many years, James Board of Nashville; her daughter, Scarlett (James) Grant; her grandsons, Tyler (Sophia) Ashley of Los Angeles, California, and Kyle Ashley of Columbus, Ohio; her granddaughters, Taylor Grant of Cohocton, New York, and Bryleigh Grant of Norwich, New York; three great-grandsons, Duke, Ryley, and Tucker; her sister, Georgia Shafer of Dunbar, West Virginia; and her dear friends Liz and Keith Robertson of Nashville, along with several nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered for the love she held for her family and the quiet strength she showed throughout her life. Per her wishes, Donna was cremated and her ashes will be spread in Meeker, Colorado.
