Donna Howard ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Whitt Funeral Home & Oakcrest Cremation Center on Mar. 16, 2026.Donna Kay Howard, 81, of Duncan, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at her home, Saturday, March 14, 2026 in Duncan after a short battle with cancer. She was born October 3, 1944 in Duncan, OK to Gabe and Elizabeth Frensley.Donna Kay graduated from Duncan High School in 1962 and married the love of her life, Jimmy, on February 1, 1963. Donna worked for Halliburton before retiring. Donna Kay and Jimmy loved traveling with their children and grandchildren, especially to their cabin in Red River, New Mexico. Her favorite time was spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. After the passing of her husband, Donna Kay was gifted with her new best friend and confidant, her little dog Gracie. Gracie was always by her side every day and with her when she passed.Donna is survived by her children: Stacey and husband Kenny Harris of Duncan, Oklahoma, Michael and Melissa Howard, of Wichita Falls, Texas; her grandchildren: Stevie Nicole Stansbery of Des Moines, Iowa, Taylor and Randal Snider of Waco, Texas, Ethan and Baylee Howard of Yukon, OK, and Bailee Howard of Duncan, OK. Clay Miller of Wichita Falls and Mia Miller of Wichita Falls, and Hunter and Andrea Harris of Lindsay, OK; great-grandchildren: Easton Stansbery of Traer, Iowa, Killian Snider of Waco, TX, Halli Harris and Hudsyn Harris of Lindsay, OK; her sister Nancy Frensley Storrie, of Argyle, TX; and nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends who will cherish the wonderful memories.She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Howard; a son, Jay Brett Howard; her parents, Gabe and Elizabeth Frensley; and a brother Gabe Frensley Jr.Pallbearers are Ethan Howard, Easton Stansbery, Randal Snider, Blayton Montgomery, Caden Montgomery, and Clay Miller.Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 18th at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Southerland officiating.
