Donna Jean Hessinger

Donna Jean Hessinger, age 82, of Waterford, passed away on March 13, 2026. Born in DuBois on December 10, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Dessyl (Wilson) Campbell.

Before starting her family, Donna worked as a secretary at General Electric. Her greatest fulfillment came from her roles as a devoted wife and mother, and she cherished her family deeply. She had a lifelong passion for interior design and music, and for many years she played the piano and organ at the Community of Christ Church. Donna also served as a La Leche League leader for more than 25 years, finding profound joy in supporting new mothers as they learned to nurse their babies. In her later years, she enjoyed spending time at the Summit Senior Center and attending game nights at First Alliance Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Fred Hessinger; her children, Kurt Hessinger (Terry Schenck), Kyle Hessinger, Ken Hessinger, and Kristen Unroe (husband Jon); and her siblings, James Campbell and Linda Kaschalk (husband Jim).
