Donna G. St John

Donna G. St. John of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away on March 10, 2026, after a year-long battle with cancer. She was 65 years old.

Born on September 5, 1960, in Huntington, West Virginia, to Harold and Avis Compton, Donna grew up in Huntington with her sisters Linda, Pam, and Lori. The family later moved to Mooresville, Indiana, and then to Whiteland, where she graduated from Whiteland High School in 1978. It was in Mooresville that she met the love of her life, Mark St. John. They married on March 19, 1982.

Donna spent much of her career in hospitality, working for many years with the Marriott Hotels Corporation. She took genuine pride in caring for her guests and found deep satisfaction in that work. Above all, her greatest joy was her family. She and Mark raised four children: Zack (Jenn), Chaney, Justin (Jess), and Josh (Brittany). Her fourteen grandchildren—Madison, Allison, Sunnie, Stormie, Erin, Avery, Coraline, Harper, Ryan, Roman, Jack, Ryatt, Brooklyn, and Kane—became her whole world. Donna cherished the happy memories she created with those she loved, and her memory and love will live on in all of their hearts. She is survived by her husband Mark, her children and grandchildren, and her sister Lori.
