Donna had a close personal relationship with God and was filled with the Holy Spirit. Donna spent her life giving herself to others as a CNA and in home health care. She worked as a companion/healthcare provider retiring this last May at the age of 79.Donna was born in West Greenwich, R.I., to Ida Brown and Richard Carpenter. She never knew her father, as he died before she was born while serving his country. She was raised by her mother and seven older brothers and sisters, all whom preceded her in death.She is survived by her three children, Sherry, of New York state, Brenda and Bill, of Rhode Island.
