Donna E. (Minch) Mertz, 82, passed Monday, March 9, 2026, at The Brethren Home Community. She was the wife of the late Dennis W. Mertz, who passed March 9, 1976.Donna was born July 17, 1943, in Reading, the daughter of the late Arthur F. and Harriet L. (Elliott) Minch.Donna was a police dispatcher for the Reading Police Department for 20 years.Donna is survived by a daughter, Stacy L. Guistwite and her husband Jeriel of Hanover, and four grandchildren, Ethan, Emily, Jared and Natalie. She was predeceased by a son, Douglas W. Mertz.Funeral services will be private.
