Donato Facchini

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Donato on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the age of 82. He was the cherished brother of Luigia Nocella, Tony (Mary), and Marie (Frank Polsinelli), and will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Born in Balsorano, Italy, to loving parents Santina and Vincenzo, he is now reunited with them.

Don possessed an amazing memory and could recall anyone’s birthday without hesitation. He loved to explore and travel, often hopping on a bus to places like Montreal or Vancouver simply to say he had been there. His day was never complete without a trip to Tim Hortons for a cup of coffee and a donut, and he always looked forward to his daily conversations with his dear friend Shirley.

Our family will be forever grateful to all the caring people who helped Donato along his many journeys in life. He will be forever loved and always in our hearts.
