He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wooters and Versie Wooters (Foster); and his siblings, Mary Moulton, Kenny Wooters, Ronnie Wooters, Earl Wooters, Gene Hoskey, Marion Hoskey, Fern Evans, Ruby Grennan, Howard "Doc" Wooters, Lyle "Tex" Wooters, Eddie Wooters and James Earl Wooters.

He is survived by: his wife Elisa Godoyo; his children, Jeff Wooters (Tammy) of Tuscumbia, AL, LeAnn Speiser (Hans Hansen) of Centralia, Mary Grace Stamper (James) of North Port, FL, Michelle Godoyo (Carlynn Ashlock) of Fort Myers, FL and Mark Oroyan of Fort Myers, FL; his grandchildren, Chelsea Romero (Juan) of Muscle Shoals, AL, Zack Wooters (Chauncey) of Tuscumbia, AL, Owen Speiser of Sandoval and Reid Speiser of Sandoval; his great grandchildren, Peyton Kresch of Muscle Shoals, AL, Mason Kresch of Muscle Shoals, AL and Benji Romero of Muscle Shoals, AL; his sisters, Pauline Stull (Bill) of Junction City and Pearl Webb of Junction City; his sisters-in-law, Mary Stachowski (Bill) of Junction City, Edna Yager (Dale), Donnie Wooters, Sue Wooters and Wendy Wooters; and his nephews, George Godoyo, Chris Kelly, Mike Kelly and John Kelly.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Day Macz Funeral Home (311 N Pine St, Sandoval, IL 62882). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hillcrest Cemetery (2500 Old 51 Rd, Centralia, IL 62801).

Memorials may be made in Donald's honor to the Centralia American Legion Post 446 and will be accepted for his family at the Day Macz Funeral Home in Sandoval.
