Donald William Brandt, Jr., 71, of Wausau, passed away unexpectedly on March 10, 2026, peacefully at home.
Born on December 9, 1954, to Donald Sr. and Joan “Frannie” (Coffer) Brandt, Don lived a full life marked by a genuine zest for living. He cherished time spent riding his motorcycle, fishing up north, observing wildlife, and tinkering in his garage. Even in retirement, he approached each day with quiet enthusiasm and a deep appreciation for the simple joys around him.
He is survived by his son Jason and daughter-in-law Jolene Brandt, his daughter Jayme and son-in-law Ryan Anklam, and his two grandchildren, Leland and Lochlan. He also leaves behind his niece Ashley Vial and nephew Zack Sobacki. Don was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Cheryl Brandt.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
