He was preceded in death by his parents, Myrl and Betty Whitmer and his brother Tim Whitmer. He is survived by his siblings Jim (Sheryl) Whitmer, Patty (Ron) Jackson, David (Shannon) Whitmer, Gary (Roberta) Whitmer; and many nieces and nephews. He graduated from Whetstone in 1975. Donny enjoyed life and was a long time OSU fan, he retired from Wasserstrom. Donny resided at Riverview Care Center.A visitation will be held on on Tuesday, March 10th at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085 from 4pm-6pm with a burial at Union at a later date.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
