He was predeceased by: his parents, John Weimer and Theresa Attenberger Weimer; his former wife Sharon Eachus Weimer; his wife Marylyn; and his siblings, Elizabeth Weimer, Eileen Logan, Gazella Yomnick, Shirley Breeze, Jack, Richard and Robert Weimer.

He is survived by: his children, Donald R. Weimer, Jr. (Lori) of Reading, Aaron P. (Jorgie Jacobs) of Greensburg, Keith A. Shanks (Patti) of Georgetown, TX, Chevelle M. Kasavage (William) of Lower Burrell and Lisa Roundtree (Jamie) of Champaign, IL; his stepchildren, Michele J. Thomas of Mt. Pleasant, Michael Shean of Greensburg, Richard Marinucci of Mt. Pleasant and Victor D. Marinucci of Mt. Pleasant; and his brother-in-law Frederick Breeze. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Barnhart Funeral Home (505 E Pittsburgh St, Greensburg, PA 15601).
