Donald “Pinky” England, 76, of Alvarado, passed away on March 10, 2026. Born on June 6, 1949, in Fort Worth, Don was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose quiet strength and steady character left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

A devoted farmer, Don dedicated his life to the land that defined both his identity and his family’s legacy. The England Family Farm received the Texas Heritage Award for enduring and thriving for more than a century, a recognition of his lifelong hard work and commitment. He was also a proud member of Freemasonry, living by the principles of brotherly love, relief, and truth.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Viola England, and his sister, Connie Huffman. Survivors include his wife, Julie England; his children, Chasta England and her spouse, Tim, Darra Arnold and her spouse, KoRee, and Leigh Brooks; his grandchildren, Nolan, Ty, Avery Jo, Emory, Quinlyn, KonLee, KynLee, and Kash; his brother, Brian England; his sister, Jeanie Walker; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and Mason brothers who will forever honor his memory.

Don will be remembered for his integrity, bright and witty sense of humor, and generous spirit, and for the example he set for his family and friends. A service will be held at a later date.
