He was born June 8, 1956, and was preceded in death by his parents Patricia (Massie) Algeo and Donald "Duck" Algeo of Powhatan. A graduate of River High School, class of 1974, Wade was a lifelong coal miner and a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He was a man with a kind heart and was loved by many.A proud retired coal miner from Powhatan and a natural "Mr. Fix-It," Wade's daughters affectionately called him "The Legend." He enjoyed Sunday sports and was an avid Steelers fan, loved live music, and had a great sense of humor. He especially enjoyed slow days on the porch swing with Kelly, watching their bluebirds, and a good game of chess with Levi. Wade had a strong faith in God and lived his life with quiet strength and dedication.He is survived by his wife, Kelly, of 45 years; three daughters, Tara (Trent) Potts of Columbus, OH, Courtney (Christopher) Doerr of Emerald Hills, CA, and Witney Algeo of Wheeling, WV; and three grandsons, Hudson and Harrison Potts and Levi Algeo; a sister Debbie Algeo (Jamie) Littleton of Lowell, OH and a brother Jim (Sabrina) Algeo of Lebanon, TN.Wade was very proud of his family, his grandsons and was blessed with wonderful sons-in-law.Per Wade's wishes, he will be lovingly remembered by his immediate family at a small, private gathering.
