Donald Rife ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Ponger-Kays-Grady - Arcadia on Mar. 13, 2026.Donald LeMoyne Rife, Sr, born to Charles 'Chuck' Rife Sr and Maysel Deffendol Rife on October 25, 1945,10/25/1945 left this Earth on March 7, 2026 in Arcadia, Florida. Rife was preceded in death by his beloved "Rib," Florence Maddy Rife; his wife of 55 years. Together, they had three children, Donald L Rife, Jr., Angela Rife Ehling (Jerrod Sr.), and Amy Rife Wuthrich (Jonathan). They had four grandchildren, Anthony Rife, Eme Wuthrich, Susan Ehling and Jerrod Ehling Jr.Rife was preceded in death by his parents, two half-brothers, Cecile and Mervin, three brothers, Bill Rife Sr. (Mary), Les Rife Sr., and Frank Rife Sr.; two sisters, Charlotte Rife and Midge Craycraft. He is survived by brother Chuck Rife, Jr, and two sisters, Gloria Lundquist (Carl) and Josephine Zink, and many nieces and nephews.Rife enjoyed tinkering, eating, motorcycles, spending time with his children, grandchildren, and pets, and perhaps most of all, telling his dad jokes. He was a devoted member of the Apostolic of Arcadia Church and was baptized there.He is now happily reunited with his wife and free from pain.A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM at The Apostolics of Arcadia Church.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
