He is survived by: his children, Alan Douglas Jarrells (Tena), Pulaski, Jeffrey William Jarrells (Carolyn), Jon Thomas Jarrells (Heather), Fairlawn and Jason Stanley Jarrells (Brenna); his grandchildren, Chessie Wilf (David), Casey Phillips (Zack), Meagan Jarrells, Austin Jarrells (Wynona), Vincent Jarrells (Lacey), Rachael Jarrells, Joseph Jarrells (Isabella), Ian Jarrells (Joy) and Riley Jarrells; his great grandchildren, River Clark, Callen Jarrells, Braxton Wilf, Blake Wilf, Brielle Wilf, Carson Phillips, Brantley Phillips and Waylon Phillips; and his sisters, Evelyn Williams (Robert), Independence, Barbara Turman, Allisonia, Joan Fowler (Roger), Rhonda Jarrells and Dublin.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery (5550 Bagging Plant Rd, Dublin, VA 24084).
