Donald Novak, 86, of Blairsville, PA passed away Monday, March 2, 2026, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown, PA.The son of Thomas and Elizabeth (Henry) Novak, he was born on July 4, 1939, in Blairsville, PA, Indiana county.Donald proudly served our country in the United States Army, where he spent time deployed overseas during the Korean War.He is survived by his children, Steven Novak of Dallas, GA and Gabby Ann Querry of Ellijay, GA; and his sister, Peggy Ann Hornock of Blairsville.He is preceded in death by his parents.Per the family's wishes, there will be no memorial service.An interment will take place in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville.Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc. at 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA 15717 has been entrusted with the arrangements.
